Why I Recommend Eating Out After Your Session

Completing a photo session, especially outdoors, can leave everyone a bit ready for a break. This is especially true for families with little children, or even teenagers! Dining out gives you time to unwind, share moments, and reassure kids they've done great. It is kind of like a little reward for smiling for so long! In addition, it keeps the mountain theme alive! A lot of my families come from out of town and want family photos while visiting the area, so instead of crashing back at your hotel/airbnb, make the most of your time away from home with one of out amazing eateries!

A Few Tips From A Local

As a local, I know more than your average Gatlinburg photographer when it comes to this darling town. So let me give you a few tips, these are especially helpful if you are visiting during peak tourist season. First of all, call your restaurant before your session and make a reservation. If you are wanting to visit on a busier day, like the weekend, then I would call a few days a head just in case. In addition to calling ahead, consider sharing entrees with your family. There is so much to taste in Gatlinburg! So make the most of your visit by sampling many entrees together, instead of sticking to just one plate.

My goal as a Gatlinburg family photographer is to help you enjoy this town as much as I do! So after your family photos, head over to downtown Gatlinburg and try some of the best eats that Tennessee has to offer!
